Abstract: Lyda Dalzell Cooke, 78, died March 28 in Del Ray Beach, Florida. Mrs. Cooke starred in silent films for the Essanay Film Co. Her stage name was Lyda St. Clair Dalzell. She was the widow of Bennett W. Cooke who died in 1956. Mrs. Cooke is survived by her sister, Ramona Janotta, sons Bennett Jr. and Peter, her daughter, Mrs. Ramona Gatewood and ten grandchildren.
